Both Easterners and Westerners celebrating the Holy Birthday of
Shakyamuni Buddha

May 10th 2011 (April 8th of Buddha Calendar) was a great day, when the
exalted Shakyamuni Buddha was born 2,500 years ago. He was the greatest
mentor in human history, who broke the boundary of time and space, and
lightened the future. His birth was memorized by all, since it brings
hope, wisdom and liberation to all beings”K
Both Eastern and Western Buddhists celebrated together in this ,
sharing tasty food and fascinating performance. In the show, two young
gifted western fellows played guitar and drums and sang a beautiful
song written by themselves. The song is to praise the World Honored One
and express their gratitude. The Chinese talk show performed by
westerners was very impressed as well”K The Party ended with warm and
long-lasting applause and cheers.
